Hello From Moncton
February 23, 2008Hello all from Moncton.
The game last night was a ton of fun. Moncton Colosseum is nice place holds a bit of 7,000. Problably 60ish people from Lewiston are up here for the weekend. We stayed last night in the same hotel as the Maineiacs. Just had breakfast with some of the fans from the Wildcats at Don Cheery’s here in Moncton. Good times last night out on the town. So many hotties… Great nightlife scene. Alex (Maineiacs radio play by play guy) and I went to a place called Rockin Rodeo. Getting ready to head to St. John now for tomorrow afternoon’s game against the Sea Dogs.
Maineiacs won last night 3-2 in a shootout.
More from St. John to come. Photos soon…

My Personal Advice
February 16, 2008Remember no mater what game in life you play- play as though you are always down by a goal and in the end you can’t loose.

Check This Out
February 2, 2008I know I know I haven’t blogged in awhile. In the mean time check out this interesting story I came across in the paper.

The Good Life- Tip#5
January 24, 2008I’ve always had this quote for men’s fashion- “You can like a pair of jeans, but you should ask yourself, ‘Does this pair of jeans like me?’ When the answer to that question is YES! Well you my friend have found the perfect pair of jeans.

We Are The Best Person of Ourselves
January 20, 2008Ever wonder how we’re always trying to be like someone else. We feel that if we were that person then our life would be so great… OK, maybe not great but at least a bit better? When we do this we are not developing ourselves and wasting precious time. The most important thing to strive for is the best version of ourselves.

Race Against Time
January 14, 2008I’m off to bed now, but I wanted to leave you with this one thought. Doesn’t it seem in life the only true enemy is time? It’s the scurrying that causes stress in this world. In the end will it all really matter? Satisfaction is leaving this world with one big influence. Something that will live for years beyond our own lives. Make sure whatever it is you decide to do that is it a positive effect. Don’t let anyone judge the validity of it. They are just jealous. All else is a catalyst to get you to that point. You’ll know it when your there.

Tetes a Claques
January 10, 2008Over the weekend I was out with friends. One who is fluent in French (Justin) was reciting lines from about an episode of Tetes a Claques (Halloween). Yesterday afternoon after working the morning & noon newscasts I happen to start watching some of these Tetes a Claques clips. My mother translated them for me… which helped add to the humor. However, if you can’t understand french it’s still freaking funny.

I Don’t Care About Your Dog/Cat/Bird/Etc.
January 10, 2008My rant for the day. STOP TALKING ABOUT YOUR PET. I don’t own a dog, cat, bird, etc. I don’t care how cute they are. The bark, chirp, jump, poop, and lick. It’s gross and I’m not an animal person. I don’t care. Don’t force animals on me. I know I’ll get a vast amount of hate mail on this, but that’s how I feel. I’m use to being in the minority…

Hillary Wins NH!
January 9, 2008With working the morning and noon newcasts all week my sleep times vary. Yesterday as I ate lunch around 2pm and watched a bit of Fox News their polls had Hillary behind by 10 points in NH. I went to bed around 3pm and when I woke up around 8:30pm to head to the gym I was so happy to learn that Hillary was in the lead. She is by far the most experienced candidate on the Democratic side. I wish her well with the rest of the primaries. Goes to show you to never give up.
